Terminal Uniqueness:  When a person feels that their situation and problems are different and unique in ways others wouldn't understand. The common self-talk that alcoholics and addicts use is! "If you had my problems you would drink and use/ or use drugs too!"

Narcissism:  Basically, the narcissistic person is thought of as a self centered person with immature child-like behavior. Not many would argue the fact that when it comes to emotional dysfunction and being irresponsible, the alcoholic and addict performs or acts like a child.

Grandiosity:  The hallmark of the grandiose is their being habitually judgmental of people places and things. Grandiose behavior is usually thought by others as a person acting God-Like. it is similar to Omnipotent behavior but in this case it includes "passing a self imposed judgment on others"

Omnipotence:  When a person thinks they have all the answers for them self and others. The omnipotent person is typically labeled by others as  "The Know it All"
